When you hit the lowest, you know it’s only going to get better from here.

Life is like a sine curve — I realized it when I turned 28. I generally reflect back when I turn one year older. But this time, let’s look forward, shall we? Not that I’m afraid to look back, but I feel stronger looking forward to the future instead. This blog is not going to be about what’s good, what’s not good, and what could be better. It’s just about rejuvenating the inner child among ourselves — the one who asks many questions in life, who is curious, and who is happy the way it is!

A sine curve dipping to a low point and then trending upward, illustrating that after hitting a low, things get better

So, what am I looking forward to? All personal events aside:

  • I can’t wait to get accustomed to living a disciplined life, in my own way of course (waking up at 4 != discipline to me right now…).
  • I can’t wait to be fitter, healthier and hence happier.
  • I can’t wait to reject practices and thoughts of others that might affect me.
  • I can’t wait to stand up — for the right culture, practices and beliefs. All philosophical (it’s not as bad as people make it sound)…
  • I can’t wait to not give up on a cup of tea, with my people around me <3
  • I can’t wait to continue streaming or publishing more content on YouTube — I love the people who watch it, and I want to continue feeling grateful.

One of the Insta reels mentioned that Japanese people hate the habit of being lazy, and it immediately sparked something in my mind — all the things I don’t do (and that I wish I did every day) are because I end up being lazy. I know there are famous Japanese practices you could follow, but I guess they all boil down to following the basics: accomplish things, keep less in your pocket to decide, stay consistent, drink water… I don’t know if any of these match a famous philosophical book, but I’m sure they would work for me.

It’s a short post. I didn’t have much in mind before writing it — it was all in my heart, and I selectively poured it here for y’all <3

To everyone who has supported me in this journey, I’m grateful. Thank you!
